Why We Started — The Story Behind Body by Stripped

I grew up watching skin suffer in silence.

My grandfather and father—both fair-skinned—battled relentless dryness. My cousins struggled with eczema and psoriasis. My mother, always graceful, still dealt with stubborn ash and tight, uncomfortable skin. And eventually, I faced it too—dry, flaky skin that no store-bought lotion could soothe.

So I stripped it all down—no harsh chemicals, no fake luxury—and started fresh. I handcrafted a body butter that finally worked. It softened crepey skin. It stopped the flaking. It made my family feel seen. And before I knew it, friends were calling back with stories of transformation—skin softer than ever, compliments on the scent, and jars that made them feel like they were spoiling themselves every day.
